Bereavement Support Group for Children & Teens

Do you know a child or teen that has experienced the death of someone close? Rick’s Place provides bereavement support to children and teens when they have experienced the death of someone close. Our groups are not therapy groups but rather mutual support groups for children and teens– kids helping kids to cope with their grief. Participants will talk, make things and have the opportunity to share pictures and mementos. The information shared in the group is strictly confidential.

Children and teens come with their adult guardian every other week during the school year. Groups are free of charge.

When: Every other Tuesday evening 6:30 –8:00pm
Where: Rick’s Place 35 Post Office Park Wilbraham, MA

Strengthening CommUNITY

Since 1852, the YMCA of Greater Springfield has been a way of life for thousands of youth, teens, families and seniors throughout our region. As one association, we are working together to meet the growing needs of the 14 cities and towns that we serve. Help us provide opportunities for Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility to more members of our community by making a donation to our Annual Support Campaign.
