Adult Classes ~ Ages 18 & up

Beginner ~ Basics of Swimming
Start with the basics and become more comfortable in the water. This class will introduce basic body positions, breathing methods and begin to build your strength and self-confidence in the water. Our instructors will work on floating and kicking drills to begin with and will assist each participant improve at their own pace. Classes will meet for 50 minutes.

Saturdays 8:45 – 9:30 AM

Intermediate ~ Stroke Development
Learn how to swim more efficiently and effectively! This class will review various strokes and improve arm, leg and head positions. Our instructors will help to identify specific areas for improvement and assist you in becoming a more confident swimmer. Classes will meet of 50 minutes.

Private & Semi Private Swim Lessons
Ages 3+
We offer one-on-one swim lessons with an instructor who will tailor the class to suit your needs and goals. In addition, we offer semi-private swim lessons meant for 2 -4 participants of similar skill level and age. Perfect for siblings or friends who want to learn together. Classes are 30 minutes and are by appointment only.  Classes must be scheduled through Kim Lavalle, Aquatics Director, 413.206.5669  or by email at and must be paid for in advance.

Water Arthritis
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
10:00-11:00am, 2:00-2:45pm
This program focuses on increasing range of motion, strength, coordination, and balance. Light and Easy aerobic moves, walking, toning, and flexibility exercises are included in this class, with modifications if necessary.

Water Aerobics
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
11:00-12:00pm or 7:00-8:00pm
A soft water workout is great for those requiring low-impact activities. Work your body through “full range of motion” water exercises using the large muscle groups to burn fat and tone up. Excellent workout with minimal joint stress.
