LEARNING CENTERS

Our Learning Centers are a full day and full year program serving infant, toddlers, and preschoolers. Program options include five day programs for Springfield & 2, 3, 5 day programs in Wilbraham.

AGE: 4 weeks – 5 years old

PROGRAM OFFERS:

High-quality early childhood education programs to children 4 weeks to 5 years. Offer Families the unique opportunity to participate in many extra-curricular activities not found in most traditional childcare programs.

Our Early Learning Centers are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care and are nationally accredited with NAEYC.

SCHOOL AGE PROGRAMS

Our School Age programs’ goal is to nurture young people by providing a safe place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships, and build self-confidence. The children’s entire experience is built around activities that challenge them to accept and demonstrate the Y’s values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Program option include 2-5 day programs, also include vacation week.

SUMMER CAMPS

Our summer camps provide kids with various imaginative activities that make sure they have fun while making new friends, building self-confidence, and discovering the world around them.

AGES: 6-16 years old. The YMCA places children in groups according to age.

CAMP OFFERS:
Camps offer tons of fun activities that your kids are sure to love. Available activities vary by the camp to camp, but some of the more common activities include:

  • Sports
  • Swimming
  • Ropes Course
  • Arts and crafts
  • Disc golf
  • Mountain Biking

Our Y-AIM programs are committed to increasing the attendance rate for all students, increase the graduation rate for all students, and develop youth education and employability skills.

GRADES & AGE OF TEEN: 12-19 years old / Grades 6-12

PROGRAM OFFERS:

The students will participate in:

  • 1 to 2 hours of remote learning time
  • 1 hour of physical activity
  • 1 hour of social activity/enrichment
  • Appropriate meals through our SFSP & CACFP contracts
  • Small group activity
  • One-way transportation from youth centers to home
  • Scholarships and financial assistance
